Why it works
With growing school choice (charters, open enrollment, private options), enrollment is no longer guaranteed, and schools increasingly need to communicate their value clearly and manage enrollment deliberately, or lose students (and the funding and community that come with them) to schools that market better, not necessarily teach better. Effective, ethical school branding and marketing means genuinely understanding and clearly communicating what the school offers and stands for, a consistent identity and story, strong communication (website, social media, word of mouth), a welcoming enrollment experience, and retention through genuine quality and relationships. The goal is helping families who would benefit find and choose the school, honestly.
